Mikuni Supports David Garibaldi, Local Performance Painter, Appearing on America’s Got Talent

SACRAMENTO, CA Mikuni sushi restaurants will host viewing parties for David Garibaldi’s live performance on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. Garibaldi will be competing in the second semifinal event on Tuesday, September 4, at 8:00 p.m.

Garibaldi has raised over $1,000,000 for nonprofits and charitable organizations across the country through his art. Hundreds of thousands have witnessed Garibaldi paint live and transform a blank black canvas into pop icons through his “Rhythm and Hue” shows. “We have had the privilege of working with David to fund raise locally,” said Taro Arai, Mikuni co-owner. David helped us raise $85,000 for the victims affected during the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. His passion for art and the entertaining way he interacts with the audience helped make our fundraiser a huge success.” Garibaldi has performed for local charities like Sacramento Children’s Home and Fortune 500 companies like Disney.

On Tuesday, all Sacramento area Mikuni locations will tune their television monitors to local NBA affiliate KCRA-Channel 3 at 8:00 p.m. to show support for Garibaldi in his quest to win America’s Got Talent. During the broadcast, guests can take advantage of happy hour pricing while they watch the show.
