The popularity of sushi in the United States has caused some to be concerned with radiation contamination from Japan

Health experts are already stressing that radiation will not likely travel 5,000 miles and pose a risk to local residents, but what about in our food?

Taro Arai, owner of Mikuni, and his sushi restaurants use 52 tons of seafood a month. Arai gets daily shipments of fresh fish and has not received any word about radiation contamination.

The US Food and Drug Administration screens for radiation contamination at all ports of entry.
