Being a good neighbor and part of the community has always been a top priority at Mikuni.
As part of our community-focused philosophy, we have sponsored the Mikuni Summer Golf Classic for the past 12 years. In the event's first four years, the funds raised were distributed to a variety of charitable organizations. In the past seven years, we have donated $500,000 to Sutter Cancer Center's Breast Cancer Navigation Program.
In addition, we have extended a broad reach into the community, having given more than 101,500 (year end 2006) in gift cards and in-kind donations to a diversity of schools, churches, and charitable organizations. We also support locally based charities-including the Cal Expo Scholarship Foundation, the March of Dimes, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Sacramento Food Bank-at their signature fundraising events.
